Unmet Stories: SoundLab
Jérémy Esengo Ndoum(he/him/er)
This project gathers tools and methods of sound production for storytelling, aiming to make different kinds of knowledge accessible: It explores both non-institutional forms of sound production and more institutionalized ones, while considering parameters such as environment, finances, our bodies and self-introspection. The research addresses the difficulties of accessing sound production and asks how alternative approaches – either community based, individual or in an institution – can be developed.
Activities am TFT
Visitors are invited to an ongoing research project on sound production as a form of storytelling and interact with what has been created so far. Visitors can reflect on different ways people access and engage with sound as well as listening to interviews that share personal and collective experiences with sound-making, watch a video that documents processes of production, and experiment with creating their own tools.
