Salon Chismosa
Gabi Soliman(they/them)
Hair salons are hubs for catching up, trash-talking, or sharing secrets. They’re spaces of therapy, where you can simply be. The idea behind Salon Chismosa was to create a community space where people felt comfortable enough to share their stories. I explore the relationship between gossip and community spaces. How a space is shaped by the stories that can unfold within and around it.
Activities am TFT
At Salon Chismosa, visitors can expect more than just hair and nails—they’ll enter a space where gossip becomes a powerful, playful way of sharing knowledge and connecting with community. I invite you to spill the tea in person or anonymously via the Chismosa website, and don’t worry about bringing cash—here, you pay in gossip.
