Our «tool for transformation» is strip work, in its inherent transformative power. Ghost strippers navigating through queer timelines and aspects of care work that serve in (for) resistance. Bodies hovering on the edges of the normative. Who serves whom? Who serves the serving bodies? How can we serve each other and what is the practice of giving back?

With the duo «Husbands» we work with queer fictioning, notions of masculinity and fluid-homo intimacies from a trans perspective. We use the language and structures of games as tools for interacting with the surrounding, leaning into the interaction and connection to audiences, blurring the borders between those who look and those being looked at. Glitching, yielding and forever transforming. We come from a place of playfulness, questioning our relationship to the audience and their relationship to us, challenging one's gaze and the mechanisms of power dynamics within it.

Access Note

Performers will move through the space and the audience is invited to follow them. The performance includes dance, movement, sound, and voice. There will be no strobe lights or smoke effects. Duration: approximately 30 minutes. Audience is welcome to stand, sit, or move as needed during the performance.
